My Abridge Profile
Dr. Vidona Barinem Willy is a Ph.D holder of Anatomy in the Faculty of Basic Medical
Sciences, College of Health Sciences, Edo University Iyamho, Edo State, Nigeria. He is a
member of various professional bodies some of which include, the Anatomical Society of
Nigeria (ASN), Society of clinical and Experimented Anatomist (SECAN), National Association
of Bioanthropologists (NABA), Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and registered certified
teacher with the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
He is an erudite researcher with specialization across Gross Anatomy, Anthropology and
Histology. He obtained his Ph.D (Anatomy) with distinction from Enugu State University of
Science and Technology, Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria; M.Sc (Anatomy) from Abia State
University, Uturu, Abia State, Nigeria; PGD (Education) from Open University of Nigeria,
Kaduna, Nigeria and B.Sc (Anatomy) from University of Port Harcourt, Choba, Rivers State,
Nigeria.
Dr. Vidona W.B. teaches Basic Histology, Systemic Histology, Gross Anatomy of Upper and
Lower Extremities, Histochemistry and Cytology, Comparative Anatomy and Bioanthropology,
History and Ethics of Anatomy, as well as Project Supervision of final year B.Sc scholars
amongst other administrative responsibilities on educational development.
He has gained valuable experiences from years of teaching in different Universities and
appearances at conferences and seminars and equally reviewer member of notable Journals, with
his various published articles basically in the area of Anthropology and Histology in National
and International peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Vidona’s inspiring philosophy of learning involves the fundamental application of the
systematic scientific methods to observing, experimenting and arriving at conclusion for any
scientifically proven observations and inquiries.
