Mr. Alokwe Barnabas Boniface is the sports officer, Edo University Iyamho. He is a seasoned sports tactician and sports administrator trained professionally and academically. He is a versatile coach with a B.Ed degree in Education Management (Physical Education) from Aldersgate University/College Philippines, a higher Diploma in guidance and counseling from the Ahmadu Bello university, a Diploma in Physical and Health Education also from the Ahmadu Bello university, a coaching Diploma certificate from the National Institute for sports (NIS) Lagos, Diploma Grade two football and officiating certificate from the Directorate of Army Physical Training school Zaria and a teachers Grade two certificate from Government Teachers college Daura (Katsina State)

Mr Alokwe Barnabas Boniface plays football, Basketball, Volleyball, Table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton and swims well while he specializes in soccer. In his active days, he played for his schools, local government, state, football clubs and the country (The Junior national team flying Eagles)

He became a professional football coach and coached notable football clubs in the elite Nigerian league, the Nigerian Army National football team (the green berrett), National Pepsi Football Academy, Ahmadu Bello University and administered Sports with the Animal Production Research Institute (NAPRI) Zaria, National Animal Research Institute Chemical Technology (NARICT) Zaria. He also held other positions as chairman football Coaches Association Zaria, Chairman Sports Committee on Youths Sports, Culture and Information Etsako East L.G. and President Student Union government National Institute for sports (NIS) Lagos.

Mr. Alokwe Barnabas Boniface was a school teacher and a school administration and an elected councilor in Etsako East L.G in Edo State. He is a man who has cut across the three major occupation, a teacher, coach and a politician. This made his philosophy the art of teaching, coaching and promoting.

He has won different laurels in his coaching career, such as the Kaduna state football challenge cup, NUGA silver medalist, Armed forces Games, football champions, RIGAN games ( Research Institute games Association of Nigeria) champions and coached the likes of Mikel Obi of Chelsea football club and Osaze Odenwingie of stokecity. He has also presented papers at different seminars, schools, club and at local government sports forums

He is married and blessed with three children who are undergraduates in higher institutions.
